Committees

Listed below are all of the active committees that make up Granada Villas. All are always in need of volunteers and take very little time to join. If you see one that interests you, please contact the person listed, your webmaster or any Board member.

It takes little effort to make a big difference in your community.

ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE

About the Committee: Review and approve or disapprove all homeowner house project requests. These requests are to modify or add something new to the property or house exterior. Meet once per month. In addition, as the Board receives requests, they are forwarded to the committee members to be reviewed before the meeting.

YARD OF THE MONTH COMMITTEE

About the Committee: Selects "Yard of the Month".

BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE

About the Committee: Determines planting of annuals at the entrances, recommends landscaping upgrades and designs & other projects.

COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE

About the Committee: Create, write for, edit and publish newsletter sent to all GV Owners and residents. Update and maintain the web site.

IRRIGATION COMMITTEE

Contact: For irrigation complaints or repair requests, call the Irrigation HotLine at (407) 345-9298.
About the Committee: Reviews performance of and communicates with the irrigation contractors/vendors to make sure they adhere to the contacts that we have established.

LANDSCAPE COMMITTEE
Chairperson: Nick Frosolone
Contact: Complete "Landscape Comment Form" (found in newsletter and on Landscape page) and drop off at address printed at bottom of form.
About the Committee: Reviews performance of and communicates with the landscape contractors/vendors to make sure they adhere to the contacts that we have established. Landscape complaints must be forwarded to Vista Management.

NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH

About the Committee: Coordinates NW block captains, alerts and events.

NOMINATING COMMITTEE (2009 Election)
Members: Belinda Desantis, Caryl Shapiro, Shirley Williams, Bo Bohannon and Mary Ellen Clegg.

About the Committee: Review residents wishing to be nominated for election to the GV Board of Directors.

WELCOME COMMITTEE

About the Committee: Make and distribute welcome baskets to all new neighbors. Plan the annual community picnic, coordinate GV Discount cards, coordinate "Lunch Bunch" events and promote community interactions.
