2012 Annual Election of Board of Directors Election Results

Thanks to all the homeowners who helped the Board reach a quorum so that the election could proceed. The officers for 2012-2013 are:

President - Barbara Ellers
Vice-President - Harold Cohen
Secretary - Bill Reed
Treasurer - Fernando Portillo
Director - Leslie Kohl

We are trying something a little different this year.  We'd like to hold some open meetings in the Recreation Area for those who cannot make regular evening meetings during the week. The meeting will be on Saturday at 11:30 am on March 10th.  Immediately after the meeting, we'll have a pot luck picnic similar to the ones we've held in the past.  We want to get your feedback, questions and ideas about how we can make GVHOA a better place to live. By we, I mean all of us, because the Board can't do it without your help and participation.

Big Sand Lake and Little Sand Lake MSTU project:

Harold Cohen and I, Barbara Ellers, have just received a large portfolio of data about this project. Our plan is to review it and then present our findings to the community with options and recommendations for a course of action. We should be able to report preliminary findings by the April 3rd meeting.

The next Board Regular Board meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 7:00 pm. The address is the Marriott Residence Inn at 11000 Westwood Blvd. just off Central Florida Parkway.
