GRANADA VILLAS HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION
SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
September 5, 2006
At the home of Leann Warfield
CALL TO ORDER
Bob Boshears acted as Chairman of the meeting and called the meeting
to order at 7:07 p.m. Pat Angel acted as secretary of the meeting and
kept the minutes thereof.
ESTABLISH A QUORUM
Present were Bob Boshears (President), Lois Gilbert (Treasurer), Leann
Warfield (Director) and Pat Angel (Secretary). A quorum was established.
PROOF OF NOTICE
Notice of the meeting was posted on the web site and a sign was placed
at each entrance.
NEW BUSINESS
The Board reviewed the landscaping bids that were received. The homeowners
commented on the current condition of the grass throughout the neighborhood.
Issues that were going to be discussed with Carol King included:
• Excessive use of weed killer around the homes
•
Weeds are overtaking the yards
•
The mowing schedule is not being adhered to
•
The mowing equipment is too wide for the narrow passages between the
homes
•
The possibility of having another detailer to help get the detailing
caught up
Bob will talk to Carol King regarding these issues and the possibility
of continuing the contract for one more year.
A correction to the August minutes: The budget will not be decided at
the September meeting.
Leann made a motion that Bob review with Carol King Option #3 in their
quote of adding another person and also discussing the list of issues.
Lois seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous for approval.
There being no further business, Lois made a motion to adjourn the
meeting. Leann seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous for approval
and the meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
The meeting of the ARC Committee followed.
